Choosing the Right Glove Size

To help you choose the right size of FIVE gloves, here is a clear guide on how to measure your hand correctly, as well as some specific tips to help you avoid making a mistake with the size.

1. Equipment and Preparation
* Take a flexible tape measure (sewing type) or, if you don't have one, a piece of string/twine that you can then measure with a ruler.
* Use your dominant hand (the hand you use most) for measuring.
* Ensure your hand is relaxed, fingers slightly closed (but not clenched), for an accurate measurement.

2. Measurements to Be Taken
A. Hand Circumference
* Place the tape around the palm, at the knuckles (just below the finger joints, excluding the thumb)—this is the widest part of the hand.
* Hold the tape without compressing it, just resting comfortably.
* Note the measurement (in centimeters or inches).
B. Hand Length
* Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your palm (where your hand meets your wrist).
* This measurement will help you determine whether your fingers are longer or shorter, which can affect the ideal size.

3. Refer to the FIVE Gloves Size Chart
* Compare your hand circumference (A) and hand length (B) measurements with the size chart.
* If you are between sizes, in the case of leather gloves or technical gloves (motorcycle), opting for the larger size may be more comfortable than choosing a size that is too tight (and may be too restrictive).
